The Look

These buds are frosty and heavily laden with trichomes.

Beautiful light green colour.

It looks like the folks at OGEN treated them with care during the harvesting process.

There are no extra pieces of stem or leaf for me to complain about 😅.

The Smell

The buds emanate a strong and pleasantly fragrant aroma and are reminiscent of Pinesol and camping gas.

Excellent any way you grind it.

It reminds me of the dark, earthy smell of a wet campsite mixed with the camping gas you accidentally spilled while trying to fill up your camping stove.

The Flava

Spot on flavour profile that leans hard on the pungent gas and camping fuel aromas with an earthy finish.

100 % enjoyable. It burns nice and clean, leaving white ash.

Zero harshness, although the flavour is pretty heavy and did make me cough a bit compared to the Lemon Z.

The Feel

Perfect texture. Not much else to say here.

The flowers are dense and subtly squishy but too much so to bust effectively with fingers.

A grinder is a must to unlock the fluffiness.

Not dry in the slightest.

The Experience

Excellent product from OGEN right here.

I'm surprised it's taken me so long to review them. I am impressed with the smell and the flavours.

At around $40 bucks after tax, it's pretty affordable too.

It hits hard behind the eyes and provides very relaxing effects without causing any drowsiness (at least in my opinion).

I would definitely rebuy this product, no question.

The Look

The container was filled with tight little nuggets that looked pretty well manicured.

No leaf or stem to spoil the visuals.

The largest bud in the jar was about the size of a quarter. Size I'd define as “workable.”

The Smell

The crazy ripe banana aromas caught me off guard!

Not sure if I've smelled anything quite as engaging in a long while.

It was like crushing up a slightly over-ripe banana and adding a squeeze of some sweet lemon juice.

Very appealing to the olfactory system and a nice change from the kush/cookies aromas that are so abundant these days.

The Flava

Straight Bananarama.

The aroma translated very well into a sweet and summery flavour profile that was very enjoyable.

At first, I mainly got all bananas, but the sweet lemon vibes come out in a J. Fascinating and agreeable.

The Feel

The flowers were dense and relatively sticky.

Not hard as rocks, but something more along the lines of a slightly squishy, robust texture that had a little give when I applied pressure.

Between this offering and the OGEN Freshly Baked #76, I'd go out on a limb and say this is precisely the kind of texture I expect from a premium product.

However, it should be noted that at around $40 for an eighth after tax, it's pretty affordable considering the level of quality.

The Experience

Overall, a great product at an affordable price point.

I would 100% repurchase this Lemon Z without hesitation. The aromas were interesting enough to leave a lasting impression.

Delivers a quality experience and nice effects suitable for the daytime.
