This CALI flower disappeared almost faster than I could take photos or write any detailed notes. Consequently, this review is a little sparse.

The Look

Looks like it was hand-trimmed, and the results are a good-looking flower product.

The Smell

Nostrils will be met with a fantastic fruity aroma that is complemented by a nose-scrunching cheesy finish.

Reminds me of a charcuterie board sitting beside a bowl of chopped papaya and mango.

Overall, quite complex with many layers to the smell, which made for a pleasant olfactory experience.

The Flava

Tastes great!

Smokes nice and didn't make me cough (until I paired it with the PuraVida honey oil).

You get a healthy dollop of sweet fruit and funk on the inhale and exhale.

Very agreeable flavour overall.

The Feel

The packaging contained an Integra humidity pack that kept the buds feeling pretty fresh.

The flowers are dense but not overly sticky.

The Experience

This is not a cheap product. I paid around $45-something for the eighth.

With that said, after I finished the first eighth, I went back and bought another one.

It is still too expensive for daily use, but it would make a nice gift for special occasions or something to pick up when you're feeling like a treat.

Overall: 🌲🌲🌲🌲/5 (gets trees for the look, taste, feel and aroma, but the price is too high)

The Look

Golden honey colour.

Clean and clear.

The Smell

Smells sweet yet dank and earthy with some lavender floral notes.

The chap at the shop told me this was extracted from Pink Kush.

I believe him.

The Flava

This oil tastes really fantastic.

It made me cough quite a bit because the smoke was thick.

Adds a great deep, dark floral flavour to J's (I shmeared the oil on OCB papers).

I filled the J with some Big Budda Cheese from CALI. It paired well with the cheesy yet fruity and funky flavour of the flowers.

Pretty overpowering, actually. Mostly all I could taste was the oil.

The Feel

Obviously, it was incredibly sticky.

Thankfully the little glass applicator made it easy to apply to papers without ripping them.

You don't want to touch this stuff with your fingers, or you'll be able to climb walls like Spiderman.

In fact, if you smoke a little too much of this stuff, you'll probably think you're Spiderman as well.

The Experience

It's great.

Honestly, I have almost no complaints here.

It was a reasonable price for 1 gram. I think I paid about $40 for the gram, but I lost the receipt as usual. It lasted me a pretty long time to boot.

It makes flower burn incredibly slowly in a J and therefore extends your session practically ten-fold.

The glass and metal applicator was a dream to work with compared to the plastic clicky applicator from the Original Stash honey oil.

Extremely #relaxing and #calming effects.

I'd save this oil for the evenings or weekends when you don't have anything else going on.

You'll definitely feel the effects right behind your eyes.

The Look

Greenade's Querkle looks enticing.

The trim job is good, and there aren't any leaves or excessive amounts of stem.

The flower has a beautiful purple colour among the greenness. There are orange hairs throughout that are pretty prominent against the purple colouration.

The Smell

Smells great!

I like how Greenade has listed the dominant terpenes on the back of their packaging. It gave me an idea of what to expect before I even opened the bag.

Greenade packed this particular package on November 16, 2020. So I wasn't expecting the flower inside to smell fresh.

However, opening the packaging releases a delightful lemony aroma complimented by dank, floral notes that linger in the area.

The smell is not sweet citrus, but rather more like the zest from a ripe lemon mixed with a few sprigs of crushed lavender flowers.

The Flava

There are pronounced lemon flavours from the rolled flower.

It's an enjoyable puff.

Overall, very smooth flavours that didn't cause any coughing.

The Feel

Even though Greenade packed this bud quite a while ago, it wasn't too dry.

The buds were too dry to be sticky but retained enough moisture when ground up to make for an enjoyable smoke.

I think there might have been a 2-way humidity pouch included inside. But I can't fully recall if this was just me thinking there should have been one included or if there was one in there.

The Experience

Although I wish it were a bit fresher, I was pleasantly surprised by this Querkle. It burns nice and slow, leaving behind white ash.

The flower tested at around 20% THC, and I'd say the effects matched what I'd expect from a twenty percent flower product.

A bit pricey for everyday use at around $40 bucks for an eighth, but great as a treat.

Overall, nice #chill and #relaxing effects. Suitable for the daytime in smaller amounts or the nighttime when you don't have to out and about.

Overall: 🌲🌲🌲/5 because it was packed last year and had lost some freshness.

The Look

It looks like a sheet of golden amber.

Half expecting to see a tiny petrified bug from the late Cretaceous period.

The Smell

Usually, I would say something like, “all extracts smell the same.” However, this particular shatter has a unique aroma to it.

Very spicy and peppery.

It definitely made me cough for a solid handful of seconds.

The Flava

The aroma translates well into a spicy and peppery flavour.

I enjoyed the flavour more than I thought I would.

The Feel

It feels.... shattery.

Didn't have any flex or bend in it—more of a snap.

The Experience

This stuff is super potent.

I don't have a dab rig or anything like that, so I just plunked a chunk on the top of a bowl which worked nicely.

It definitely needs some water to cool it off!

The price was pretty reasonable at around 40 bucks a gram.

Intense #chill and #relaxing effects. Suitable for the nighttime.

The Look

No complaints here besides a few long stems that didn't get trimmed off.

Bright green colour with plenty of purple/blue throughout and some orange highlights from the hairs.

Most of the buds were well-manicured and visually appealing.

The Smell

Unlike the sour citrus that dominated Namaste's Ultra Sour, this Blue Lemon Thai has a sweet lemon aroma with some more profound earthy complexity.

It smells fresh and sweet, like sticking your head in a bucket of freshly picked lemons on the lemon farm where the lemon was picked.

Not overly intense, but definitely inviting and enjoyable.

The Flava

The pleasant smell didn't really translate into an excellent taste.

It's not unenjoyable by any means, but it lacks the sweetness I was hoping for.

Tasted a little meh.

The Feel

Buds were a bit dry to the touch. Not over-dried, but not... juicy (which is to be expected these days).

The buds felt fresh, and that would make sense as it was packed reasonably recently.

Not sticky to the touch, but they had a good density.

The Experience

I did enjoy this Tabletop product, and I wouldn't be embarrassed to crack this open in front of a good mate.

The effects were decent and relatively long-lasting.

For around $100 an oz, you can't go wrong considering the other options out there.

Pretty #chill and #relaxing effects without causing sleepiness. Suitable for the daytime or nighttime.

The Look

Nothing but stems and popcorn.

Disappointing bag appeal for sure.

I think this bag was one of the last ones off the production line and got all the shwaggles floating around at the bottom of the barrel.

So many pieces of stem and sticks in amongst the buds that required sorting before use.

The Smell

Aroma provides a bit of redemption with a decent amount of sour zest.

It sort of smells like an old lemon, but not in a bad way.

The Flava

Pretty tasty and not nearly as atrocious as the look of it.

No harsh flavours or burning throat.

I got a hefty helping of airway expanding citrus notes, but nothing too complex.

The Feel

Buds were kind of sticky.

Based on the look of it, you'd assume it was just a bunch of dried-out popcorn nuggets. However, they actually had a pretty decent feel to them.

Good density despite their less than appealing appearance.

The Experience

I like this flower when it's done well.

This is a great cultivar, executed well, but the lack of a single bud bigger than my pinky fingernail was disappointing.

This stuff isn't cheap either (about $35 and eighth, I think).

Honestly, there should have been nothing but chunky nuggets in the package for that price.

The effects were decent.

Maybe next time Namaste... maybe next time.

Significant #uplifting and #energetic effects suitable for the daytimes or anytime, really.

The Look

Looks great overall.

The buds are nice and frosty.

The trim is good.

The pictures I took don't do the flowers justice.

The Smell

Great zesty aroma.

Tons of sour citrus with a hint of sweetness.

The very potent aroma when the buds go through the grinder is superb.

The Flava

The zesti-ness (ha! get it?) acts like an anti-congestant.

I felt like it really opened up my airways.

There is a great zesty inhale, and it gets pretty sweet on the exhale.

It didn't make me cough and tasted great to the end of the J.

The Feel

Buds were well dried. Not over-dried.

Good springy sponginess.

The Experience

I really enjoyed this -ness product.

I heard from others that their experiences weren't as positive as mine due to some buds burning pretty harshly.

I didn't experience any harsh buds or nasty flavours.

I would love to see this come in oz's because the eighth disappeared pretty quickly.

Significant #uplifting and #energetic effects suitable for the days or anytime, really.
